Bitacora comes to be Antonio Ballestín’ diary of musical experiences. In the project converges different musical languages like jazz, folk and contemporary music. That’s the reason they like to call it ‘amphibious music’. The band was based in 2003, playing in different festivals and series, standing out their presence in the 2010 Zaragoza Jazz Festival.
Antonio Ballestín meets the Huesca Big Band in a Master Class / Workshop. The session will consist of a speech about the writing process of his composition “Cierzo”. After, the piece will be rehearsed in order to be part of “Huesca Big Band” repertoire and its new CD. The piece belongs to the repertoire of “Bitácora-Septet”, which is Antonio Ballestín ś own regular band.
